You’re a Liverpool institution with residencies at Garlands and Society how does it feel to be playing for Goodgreef’s Birthday party this year?
Its fantastic. I have the utmost respect for the guys at Goodgreef. They have worked extremely hard and have established a clubbing institution, that has gone international and its an honour to be playing on their birthday.
Whats the best thing about playing at Nation?
As will all know Nation is a legendary venue, I remember raving there in the days of Cream & Full On. And the atmosphere is creates is unrivalled.
Are you going to be playing out anything new from your Boss Record Label?
Most certainly, there’s 3 or 4 new tracks that we’re in discussions about signing, so I shall be road testing those, and of course we have the big tune Mason – Exceeder, I have a sneaky new mix of that to try out!
What can the Goodgreef massive expect from your set?
I’m going to be banging out some very chunky, dirty electro tunes, its going to get grimey!

Vibrant, Cosmopolitan & on the up – that’s 6 !
If you had to choose between the two- DJing at the radio station or live to a crowd what would it be?
Live to the crowd, everyday of the week! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love been on the radio & reaching hundreds of thousands every weekend, but I am a club DJ first & foremost and seeing people’s reactions is everything.
Whats the worst thing about being Anton Powers?
Good question, probably people assuming what your like from what they hear on the radio and see in the clubs, and make assumptions before they know you.
Are you a red or a blue?
Blue all the way, got a season ticket to prove it, Cahill, Johnson & Arteta will get us into Europe this season!
